AR Interface Tests
Below were the initial sketches of possible AR interface designs and a video that is unfortunately not filmed with screen capture, but on my phone pointed at my monitor screen while wearing an Oculus DK2.
This was the first system of depth determination in AR I created, it uses occlusion of the hands as an indication of the depth distance of my reach. Therefore determining the limits of the reaching radius of my arms and how that distance is translated to the virtual world.
Below is the first sketch behind the idea and a video of the simple execution using a Leap Motion and an Oculus Rift.
